Excitement in the Office!

We are so excited that the Sherpa sheets have arrived for the Spicing up your Marriage Book that will be launched soon! This has been an ongoing project, which seems to be coming to a close.

Our team here at the Family Life Center have been hard at work checking the proof sheets for mistakes.

It has been a long journey that God has led me on, and I am happy to say that I feel ready to let go, and print this amazing book.

Make sure not to miss the launch of this book at the Releasing the Fragrance conference on the 10th of September at Harvest Christian Church.

We're back! UPDATE!

My apologies for having been so very quiet! Here is a quick update about what I have been up to.

It has been a hectic year filled with joy and excitement, travels around the Eastern Cape, as well as to Kenya for an amazing Woman of Peace experience.

I ministered at the launch of the Options Pregnancy Crisis Centre, in Knysna, with Errol Naidoo of the Family Policy Institute. Thanks to Iliana Efstratiou for a great occasion where many ladies’ lives were touched.

Next was a family camp in Bloemfontein. We did an Easter Family camp for the Agape Christian Family Church which is pastored by George and Mariolize Steencamp. They also have a Family Transformation Centre, led by Johan and Julie van Reenen, with whom we have walked for many years now. It is so encouraging to see how the Family ministry there is developing and impacting the city.

In April, we attended the church of the Nations (COTN) National Conference which was hosted by Hope Restoration Church, pastored by Chris and Phindi Mathebula, who are a spiritual son and daughter to us. We have walked with them for almost 10 years now and seen the church grow from 120 to over 4000 people. It was a delight to experience the powerful worship, anointing and servant heart of the people at Hope Restoration as they served us with such a spirit of honour and excellence.
I know that many pastors that attended were deeply touched and inspired by their victorious spirit. Thanks Chris and Phindi, we love appreciate you.

In May, I went to Hebron Christian church in East London, where I presented Song in the Desert at a ladies camp, starting Friday night and ending Sunday. In the one session, I spoke about the “Love Song” based on a prophetic word that God gave me. I shared a powerful analogy between written music and how God moves in our lives through the power of the song and the word, to move us from desert places to a place of springs. Women entered through the doors of Righteousness, Justice, Love, Mercy and Faithfulness and were set free from shame, hurts, bondages and strongholds.

The following weekend, Drummond (my husband) and I travelled down to Hermanus, where we had the privilege of ministering to the leaders in the Western Cape region who head up various ministries for Youth for Christ. Leaders came from Knysna all the way down to Cape Town. We gave input into their lives, ministries and marriages. It was wonderful to meet Chris and Linda Harding who are the International training directors from Australia, and Roelf and Lizzy Weichardt who are the directors for South Africa. We give thanks for Martin and Shannan Lord, Operation Directors at YFC. It has been a privilege to partner with them in family ministry around the nation. They have been so supportive of our ministry and distribute hundreds of our books to encourage all their associate ministries.

On June 24, Drummond and I travelled to Kenya for 10 days to celebrate the first anniversary of the church plant in Nairobi, led by Julius and Benjaline AKeng’a. We attended two large graduation services for about 600 prisoners, officers and Chaplains who have completed the Men of Honor and Woman of Peace courses. We then flew to Mombasa to launch a Family Transformation Ministries office with Ben and Valentine Nguti . They have been running Men of Honor and Woman of Peace courses in the area. We also preached in a church where men of honor has been running, and spoke at a couples dinner. The entire trip was such a blessing.

That's it for now. We have a lot planned for the next month, and I promise to keep you updated on the happenings. God Bless. Lindah.
